Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, the manager of Team Spirit, honestly stated that the team played poorly and had problematic drafts, which led to their elimination from BLAST Slam 1.

He shared this during a stream on Twitch.

"No, there was no post about what happened. So what happened? Well ****, we had FP – we didn’t pick Chen. That’s what happened. And overall, we just played poorly. It happens. Yesterday, when I was watching Falcons vs. OG, I was hoping that Falcons would get knocked out, just so I could write: 'Performed at the level of Falcons.' But ****, Falcons ended up winning"

According to Korb3n's statement, he was dissatisfied with the drafts, which clearly lost to the opponents. However, the manager admitted that the team did not perform well, which is why he believes the result at the tournament was deserved.

Korb3n also confessed that he wanted Team Spirit to perform at least at the level of Team Falcons, but Falcons still managed to progress further than the two-time world champions at the tournament.
