Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov shared detailed instructions on how to find a team for a promising player with a good rating but no connections on the pro scene.
The
Team Spirit manager shared his advice on Twitch.
"Without connections or acquaintances, this is how you do it: you install the Discord program. There are two conferences directly in Discord. The first conference is called Dota Managers and Tournament Organizers.
In this conference, you ask for an invite, there is an LFT/LFP chat, and you send a default message there, such as LFT AS PLAYER, etc. The second is Dota 2 Scrims. This is the second conference in Discord, and there is also an LFT/LFP here. You go here, and there is also a PRO LFT/LFP, but that's not important. You go there and write LFT, pos2, 14k, strong there, etc. That's it. You will be invited to the team. Congratulations."
According to Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, there are special open communities on Discord, which include most representatives of professional Dota 2. If a player has a high rating but no connections in the pro scene to get into a team through a direct invitation from acquaintances, they can simply post ads in all these communities, which will most likely help them get an invitation to the team.
We would like to remind you that earlier, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov named the rating that a player needs to get into the
Team Spirit youth squad.
