Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, the manager of
Team Spirit, has specified his earlier pronouncement on the possible transfer of Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk and Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov. His claim is that he talked about serious offers and not just vague promises.
As seen in his Telegram channel:
“After Ilyukha’s recent interview, I think I need to clarify what I said before. I quote: ‘Collapse and Raddan have never seriously thought of going to other teams.‘ When I say ‘seriously,’ I mean the management is pressuring them because there is a financial offer on the table, and someone wants to pay for them. Or when the player has a choice in front of them between two teams because they want to make a move”
As Korb3n has said, Yatoro was offered by many teams and he may have thought about it, but alas, there is not even a single ‘sound’ offer. No buyout offers were placed formally at
Team Spirit, meaning that Yatoro himself intended to remain in the team.
“Team Spirit did not receive buyout bids from any other firms. Ilya himself was also keen on going back to Spirit, and would only consider alternative offers should Spirit refuse. When random people from sports managers to SMM directors start messaging a player’s DMs, saying, ‘How about coming on board?’ — it is not a serious proposition. Everyone gets a lot of those”
Remind that Korb3n had mentioned earlier that instead of signing Anton "Dyrachyo" Shkredov,
Tundra Esports was potentially looking to sign Yatoro and was asking about his contract with
Team Spirit.
