Team Spirit declined to participate in the tournament due to health issues

Team Spirit CS2 lineup has withdrawn from IEM Melbourne due to health problems, and they will be replaced by VRS Global.

The team announced the reasons for their unexpected decision in a commentary to HLTV.

“We were originally going to play in Melbourne, but unfortunately health problems got in the way and we had to cancel. It's very unfortunate, but health always comes first”

The club said they had planned to go, but health problems started to plague the squad. The team decided that the condition of the lineup members was more important to them, so they declined their slot in the competition.

After that, the organizers announced that Team Spirit would be replaced by Complexity at the tournament. The club decided not to reveal the details, and did not say what exactly happened to the CS2 lineup, and what is the state of health of the roster members.
