Ilya “Illidan” Pivtsaev stated that the problems in Remko “Crystallis” Aretas' game at
Tundra Esports arise due to the gameplay characteristics of players in other core positions.
The Team Spirit streamer stated this on Twitch.
"Is he really that bad? Listen, there are many factors at play here. I think he has a very greedy mid laner. Yes, I know that bzm is a good player. I don't mean that he's bad, it's just that, in my opinion, he plays greedily. And when you have both an offlaner and a mid laner who are greedy, playing as a carry is just awful, guys."
According to Ilya “Illidan” Pivtsaev, only such pro-scene representatives as Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov, Oliver ‘Skiter’ Lepko, and Lasse “Matumbaman” Urpalainen can play effectively in such conditions in the carry position. The
Team Spirit streamer also noted that he had a similar approach to gameplay when he was at his peak. The content creator believes that Remko “Crystallis” Arets used to be able to show decent results within a comfortable pool, but now the player is unable to show decent gameplay at all.
"The only way to perform well as a carry is if you are either skiter, me, or Dyrachyo. Well, I mean when I was still playing Dota myself, obviously not now. Or, for example, MATUMBAMAN — if you are him, then yes. Crystallis used to have some skill: he could close games with his signature heroes. Now it feels like he's not really playing anything."
Earlier, Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov spoke about the problems in
Tundra Esports' play at the Riyadh Masters 2025.
