Nikita “Panto” Balaganin, the captain of Team Spirit, said that they could have beaten MOUZ in the BLAST Slam 4 playoffs, but they lacked damage and buybacks — and as a result, the tournament ended for them.

The esports player shared this in a message to fans, commenting on the team’s defeat in the club’s Telegram channel

“Our series with MOUZ is over — we lost. The third map was really tough, we could’ve won in the end. There were a couple of stolen Aegises, and teamfights were quite interesting, but unfortunately we lost. Somewhere we didn’t have enough damage, somewhere MOUZ played a bit better, somewhere we just didn’t have enough buybacks. Well, it is what it is. The tournament ends here, which is sad and disappointing. Thanks to everyone who supported us — we’ll try to get better in the future”

He explained that MOUZ played really well, but Team Spirit still had a chance to take the deciding map. However, Panto emphasized that maybe they lacked some damage, buybacks and skill in a few moments of the third game.

The captain also thanked the fans for their support and promised that the team will try to improve and live up to the community expectations.
