Team Falcons fans booed Airat "Silent" Gaziev, the coach of
Team Spirit, during an interview at the Riyadh Masters 2025 — the club considered it a sign of disrespect.
This was stated by the team manager Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov during a stream on Twitch.
"I don't have any attitude. Even if these are bribed fans — is that bad or something? The only thing is that whistling at Airat is disrespectful. I didn't like that. But I'm fine with any fans. It's just that Falcons fans whistled when Airat was being interviewed. I think it was hard for him to even speak — it was so loud. Just whistling is okay, but when a coach is being interviewed and they interfere with him — that's too much"
Korb3n noted that he doesn't care even if these were paid fans, but he considers such behavior extremely disrespectful. According to him, the fans deliberately prevented Silent from giving an interview at the tournament.
The manager added that the noise in the arena made it difficult for the coach to speak. He also noted that he had not encountered anything like this in other disciplines and, if he were Silent, he would have refused to give an interview in such a situation.
Team Falcons and the organizers of Riyadh Masters 2025 have not yet commented on the incident.
Recall that earlier, the captain of
Team Spirit caused a stir with his photo from his vacation after Riyadh Masters 2025.
