Airat “Silent” Gaziev considers
Team Spirit to be quite strong, but acknowledges problems with both team play and the individual preparation of some players.
The
Team Spirit coach made this statement on YouTube.
"I think we have a prety strong team: players, interaction, understanding. Of course, there are areas where we fall short — team chemistry is an inconsistent factor, after all. Sometimes individual skill suffers, sometimes teamwork, sometimes peaks, strategies, and communication. But overall, we have enough perks and attributes to win and beat other teams."
Airat “Silent” Gaziev did not name any problematic players on the roster, but noted that the team sometimes chooses unsuccessful strategies, experiences communication problems, and makes mistakes during the draft phase, but overall,
Team Spirit has enough potential to win.
The
Team Spirit coach also gave a positive asessment of the team's chances of becoming three-time champions of The International and even hinted at the posibility of subsequent victories in the main Dota 2 pro scene tournament.
"Damn, I hope in 2026, 2027, and 2028. It's silly to say ‘it depends on how the cards fall’ — in reality, it all depends on us. It may sound presumptuous, but we are simply capable of doing it. What I like most when we go to tournaments is the feeling that we can win. Or maybe I'm wrong, and it just seems that way to me."
Earlier, Airat “Silent” Gaziev spoke about Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk's preparation as part of
Team Spirit.
