Team Spirit's captain made a surprising statement about The International 2024

Unexpectedly, the Team Spirit captain Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naydenov joked about his team’s loss in the grand final of Super Dimensional Vision Snow Ruyi tournament. The point he made that seemed quite comic and lighthearted was that they were defeated on purpose to disrupt their progress; it had to help them not to be so much psyched before The International 2024.

He shared this in his Telegram channel:

“Well, Xtreme beat us in the final. We broke the streak before TI to take off the pressure. We tried, but we lacked good ideas, and the Earth buff turned out to be stronger. Now we’ll rest and then prepare for new tournaments. Thanks for the support”

The comments as gathered from him showed that they lost deliberately to relieve fans’ growing expectations. Additionally, Miposhka admitted that they would fix their errors ahead of next tourney while admitting faults found during a match against Xtreme Gaming.

Team Spirit is likely to get down into serious preparation for TI13 considering those areas pointed out by Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov earlier on.
