Team Spirit captain reveals reason for failure at The International 2025

Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov said that Team Spirit's problems began with the FISSURE Universe 6 grand final against Team Falcons, which the team approached without the will to win.

The Team Spirit captain spoke about this on Twitch.

“Everything started to fall apart for us a little bit starting with the FISSURE Universe 6 grand final against Falcons. We played it casually and with a substitute, as if this attitude began to spill over into the next games.”

The player and esports athlete also noted that Team Spirit's level of preparation was affected by Denis “Larl” Sigitov's health problems, which forced the team to repeatedly rebuild around new players. Although Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov acknowledged that this should not have greatly affected the team's form, Team Spirit was still unable to maintain its previous form.

"Again, we played with one substitute, then another, and Larl wasn't with us right away. Maybe that had an effect too. At least on me, a little bit. Logically, it shouldn't be a problem, but it still left its mark a little."
