Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov, captain of
Team Spirit, spoke about his past with Alexander "Nix" Levin and admitted that the streamer had a tyrannical nature that didn’t tolerate mistakes.
The esports player shared this during an interview on the YouTube channel KD Cast.
"He always took a tyrannical stance, which made it hard to interact with him. Nix wasn’t a mentor who could pass on his knowledge. He was more of a 'bad cop.' There was no other way. If you didn't do something right, Nix would highlight your failures. And you couldn’t stop thinking about it – it definitely got to me"
Despite this, Miposhka emphasized that Nix was an incredible player and a true leader, but he quickly burned out from the game, something he openly admitted. The
Team Spirit captain shared that while it was extremely difficult for him to work with Nix, and Nix even apologized for his words toward teammates, he is grateful for the experience. Moreover, Miposhka believes that Nix had a significant impact on his success in the Dota 2 pro scene.
"We went through a lot, no doubt. I thought a lot about the situations and things he said. So he did influence my life and who I’ve become. But it’s all experience – and I’m thankful for that"
He also reflected on how he now views many of the leadership situations with Nix differently. Miposhka believes that back then, he couldn’t challenge the leader, but now he would take a completely different stance and oppose his decisions.
It’s worth noting that Nix previously claimed that it was thanks to him that Miposhka became a Dota 2 world champion, as he guided the future esports star.
