Team Spirit captain named the real reason for their defeat by Team Liquid

Yaroslav ‘Miposhka’ Naydenov believes that his team lost the first playoff match at the Riyadh Masters 2024 against Team Liquid due to a lack of a plan of action.

The Team Spirit captain commented on his team's defeat in a post-match interview on the Twitch broadcast of the Riyadh Masters 2024 tournament.

‘It depends on what our plan is. Even when we were losing on the first map against Team Falcons, we had a plan, we waited for timings, artefacts, and after they came into our half we came up with a solution: jump on Sven, kill him and see what happens next. In the match against Team Liquid we didn't have a plan. We played second number, but it was too slow.’

After a 2 : 0 loss to Team Liquid in the first match of the top grid, Team Spirit fell to the bottom grid where the team successfully won the elimination match against LGD Gaming. Next, the team will have to play against PSG Quest, and the winner of this match will play for a spot in the lower grid semi-finals against Team Falcons.
