Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naydenov believes that the team had a terrible result at ESL One Birmingham 2024. The cybersportsman believes that the level of play of his squad has sagged in all parameters.

“Disappointed. Terrible result for us. It's obviously not what we expected, it's not what we were counting on. Before the tournament started we had a good game in training, had a good winrate.

The ideas that we came with, somewhere we succeeded], somewhere we didn't. We played hard, but on the decisive day the game fell out of our hands, as if we got off on the wrong foot.

Calls, assessment of situations, understanding, discipline, communication...We were down in all parameters. All of this led to a terrible result.

The only card we won with a stretch and a lot of faults, somewhere we got lucky. I can't say that we played cool. In the first two days we played much better, but today was not our day.

Now the team has no concrete plan about what we are going to do next. Some are going to go to London, to distract themselves. Some are going to go home and reset.”

Team Spirit played all of their group stage matches at ESL One Birmingham 2024 to a draw. With five cards out of ten played, the team had the same score as the other four members of the group. Nevertheless, the team lost the opportunity to qualify for the playoffs by showing the worst result on the replay, which was the reason for the departure from the tournament.
