Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov is extremely dissatisfied and criticized Valve's decision to nerf
Magnus in patch 7.39e, because the hero was already unpopular and did not boast a high win rate.
He talked about this during a stream on Twitch.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, Magnus has been killed. Skewer stops if... Why did they do that? I don't understand... Why? The hero is already unpopular, he's a skill-dependent hero. People like watching Magnus being played because he's a cool, skill-dependent hero, so why do that?”
Korb3n noted that during The International 2025,
Magnus had one of the worst win rates in the championship. In addition, the manager emphasized that the hero is very skill-based and people like to watch him, but the developers decided to finish him off for good.
It is also worth noting that
Magnus is the signature hero of Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov. He is probably also unhappy with Valve's decision to weaken his hero.
Earlier, the
Team Spirit manager let slip about the departure of Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov.
