Team Spirit announced their new team captain

Nikita “panto” Balaganin has become the new captain of Team Spirit, despite being a newcomer to the team.

This was announced by Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov during a stream on Twitch.

"Who will be the captain of Spirit now, Yatoro? Panto. Why not someone else? We don't want to. Why does Ilya need this? Ilya needs to win games and play a lot of Dota. Getting distracted by drafts and preparation — starting from scratch. That's not what we need. And one of the reasons we chose Nikita is his desire to pick and be responsible"

The team manager explained that this role was not given to Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk so that he would not be distracted by drafts and other captain's duties, but would focus on his direct tasks.

Korb3n also noted that panto was chosen for this position because he himself expressed a desire to engage in drafts and take responsibility for the team.
