Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov believes that the release of the new patch could have a positive impact on the 1win Dota 2 roster’s results.
The
Team Spirit manager shared this opinion on Twitch.
“They’re just going through a slump; we’ll have to see. It’s hard to draw any real conclusions based on FISSURE. It’s a bit of a stretch. A slump is normal. We’ll have to wait and see what happens next. They need a patch. 1win is a patch-dependent team. Any 33 team is essentially a patch-dependent team. If the patch isn’t in their favor, they struggle; if it is, they’re fine.”
According to Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, the team is currently in a slump, but it’s too early to draw conclusions based on
1w Team’s performance at the recent PARI Universe tournament hosted by FISSURE. The
Team Spirit manager believes that a dip in the team’s results is a normal occurrence, but he sees a pattern: the Dota 2 meta has a very strong influence on
1w Team’s gameplay and results, which decline if the roster isn’t comfortable playing on the current patch.
As a reminder, Roman “Ramzes666” Kushnarev previously sharply criticized a roster change at 1win. Streamer Vladislav “Stariy Bog” Levenets joined the team as a stand-in.
