Team Liquid set a historic record on the Dota 2 pro scene

Team Liquid set an unusual record on the professional Dota 2 scene, spending almost eight hours playing official matches in a single day.

This happened on the final day of PGL Wallachia Season 7. Within 12 hours after the start of their first map, the team played a total of 7 hours and 55 minutes of pure in-game time.

Most of this time came from two very long series. In the match against BetBoom Team, the teams spent 225 minutes and 50 seconds in game. After that Liquid played another long series — this time against Team Yandex, which lasted 236 minutes and 45 seconds.

As a result, the total map time during that day became a new record for the professional Dota 2 scene, breaking the previous record held by Power of MYSG+AU, who once played 7 hours and 39 minutes in a single competitive day.
