Michael “miCKe” Wu,
Team Liquid carry, commented on the new lineup's poor results, noting that the team had not undergone such radical changes in a long time. According to him, the process of gelling is difficult, and the club needs time to start showing good results.
The esports player spoke about this during an interview at BLAST Slam 4.
“It's an interesting process, to be honest. I think we haven't had a restructuring in a long time. We've changed players here and there, but not globally. Of course, it's hard and hectic, but we're working hard and working on the problems. We just need time for everything to work out”
MiCKe acknowledged that there have indeed been difficulties with the new lineup. According to him,
Team Liquid hasn't had such large-scale changes in a long time, which has affected the results.
The team failed to make it through the group stage of the tournament and was eliminated without a chance to play in the BLAST Slam 4 playoffs. The player noted that there is still some chaos and confusion within the team, but emphasized that this is temporary.
Nevertheless, MiCKe is confident that fixing the problems is only a matter of time. He added that the newcomers are already being helped to adapt, and the rest of the team is gradually getting used to the changes.
