Blitz Addresses Rumors of Teams Leaving Dota 2

William “Blitz” Lee stated that rumors about tournament operator BLAST and several major esports clubs leaving the Dota 2 pro scene are untrue.

The Team Liquid coach made this statement on YouTube.

“Some former PARIVISION employee is spouting nonsense and making all sorts of claims. I immediately spoke with representatives from BLAST because he said they were planning to leave Dota. They told me, ‘We have no idea what this person is talking about or where he’s getting his information from.’ Then I spoke with the owners of major organizations about who was planning to leave the scene—no one. No one is planning to leave, and everyone is confused about where this information is coming from. All in all, the whole thing is a bit suspicious.”

According to a statement by William “Blitz” Lee, one of PARIVISION’s former employees started spreading these rumors. Nevertheless, the Team Liquid coach noted that he personally spoke with representatives from BLAST and the owners of major esports organizations, who directly denied this information, adding that they don’t even understand where such rumors came from.

As a reminder, an insider report previously surfaced regarding Tundra Esports’ imminent departure from professional Dota 2.
