Team Liquid captain shocked with statement about BetBoom Team

33, Team Liquid captain, said that BetBoom Team plays worse against his team and he doesn’t know why. He thinks they might be afraid or ill-equipped for aggressive play.

He was speaking in a post-match interview at ESL One Birmingham 2024.

“I have a lot of respect for BetBoom as a team, but it feels like they play slightly worse against us. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s in their heads, or maybe we just play more aggressive than them and they struggle with that”

He suggested the reason could be psychological: perhaps BetBoom Team is scared to face Team Liquid. Another option is that players have trouble dealing with 33's lineup’s aggressive style.

However, they recently drew when playing each other - group stage match at ESL One Birmingham 2024 ended 1:1.
