Curtis "Aui_2000" Ling, the coach of
Team Falcons, publicly apologized for the behavior of Ammar "ATF" al-Assaf, who threatened Gleb "Kiyotaka" Zyryanov.
The coach made the corresponding post on his X (Twitter) page.
"I spoke with Lukawa and completely agree with him that there is no place for such expressions in the pro scene. I apologize for how this turned out; it's not good"
The team had to respond to the actions of their player, who threatened to beat Kiyotaka in real life. Many members of the Dota 2 community immediately condemned the player's words, with some even stating that such behavior should not go unpunished.
However, the manager of
BetBoom Team reported that ATF ultimately apologized to Kiyotaka for his threats in one of the Dota 2 pubs.
Previously, a conflict had arisen between the players, which escalated into a real confrontation with threats of physical harm by the end of the match.
