Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak said that Jonas “SabeRLight-” Volek played only one match for
Team Falcons because he wasn’t in the best form after a long break, and the midlaner also wanted to play with Ivan “Vazya” German.
The esports player shared this in a comment to the OFFSTAGE portal.
“Why did we replace SabeRLight- so fast? The answer is very simple, I just wanted to play with Vazya. Also SabeRLight- only came back from a break, so I told the guys: ‘Look, everything lines up — lets try playing with Vazya!’ And thats it, we gave Vazya a chance”
Malr1ne explained that SabeRLight was not in his best shape after the long break, and also admitted that he simply wanted to give Vazya a chance. According to him, it was his own initiative to suggest bringing his former teammate as a standin.
In the end the club agreed, and Vazya became a temporary stand-in on the offlane position until ATF returns to the Dota 2 roster.
