Talon Esports secured a slot in the second division of Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022 in Southeast Asia.
In the semifinals of the 1st Open Qualifier, the team of Tal «Fly» Aizik lost to Ragdoll. However, in OQ#2 Talon beat KOBOLDS in the final with a score of 2:0 and qualified to DPC.
Talon Esports is an organization from Hong Kong known as PSG Talon. With already strong success in the MOBA genre with multiple championships in League of Legends and Arena of Valor, the squad will be based out of Manila, Philippines. The club will participate in Dota 2 for the first time.

Due to Omega Esports ban on participation in tournaments from Valve and disqualification from DPC league, BOOM Esports team moved to Division I and freed up a slot in Lower Division. Three best teams from the second OQ will compete for this slot in CQ: KOBOLDS, InterActive Philippines and Atomic Esports.
