Tommy "Taiga" Le, Dota 2 world champion, is not retiring from the professional Dota 2 scene but is taking a break and might return to esports.
The former
OG player made this statement on his Twitter page.
""Retirement" is probably not the right word. Right now, I'd say I'm taking an extended break from the professional scene. Currently, my passion is playing pubs and streaming for you guys"
Based on his words, it seems like he plans to return to professional play in the future. However, for now, he will focus on developing his career as a streamer and personal coach, similar to what Jesse "JerAx" Vainikka, also a former
OG player, did after his professional career.
To recap, Taiga returned to the professional scene earlier but didn't play for
Bleed Esports for even a month before leaving the team.
