Sunlight named the main reason for Gaimin Gladiators failures and shared how they could regain form

Kirill "Sunlight" Kachinskiy believes that the main problem for Gaimin Gladiators lies in opponents banning Pangolier, which leads to difficulties for the team in selecting effective heroes.

The former professional esports player made this statement in an exclusive interview with Metaratings.

"I think after the rather poor performance at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, where, in my opinion, Quinn threw a lot, the team started to lose faith in what they were doing before, in their heroes. Opponents now always ban Pangolier, so the 'gladiators' start to scramble for heroes. If they lose with a certain hero, the thought creeps into their heads that it doesn't work."

The former Dota 2 pro-player also claims that the current lineup of Gaimin Gladiators lacks stability. Even in the case of a successful draft, the team makes numerous mistakes during the game, as seen in the match against OG during the tiebreakers. Sunlight believes that the team needs a break because amidst failures, the members of the lineup could be tired of each other. The esports player adds that in the current circumstances, not every player can regain form, which is why they need a reboot.
