Professional player Kirill Sunlight Kachinskiy stated that the changes in the new 7.35 patch Dota 2 will not significantly impact the game's meta but will make battles more active. According to Sunlight, more time is needed for a thorough assessment, including testing and playing a sufficient number of games.
The well-known esports athlete shared this opinion with the Metaratings publishing house.
"Additional time is required for a careful evaluation of impressions, as testing and a substantial number of games need to be conducted. In my opinion, the current meta lineup will remain largely the same, with the exception of heroes who have been weakened, such as
Spectre,
Spirit Breaker, and a few others. The game may become slightly more active, but specific conclusions require additional time and space for affirmation." - stated Kirill Sunlight Kachinskiy.
Regarding the increased intensity of battles, he added:
"New items have been introduced in the neutral camp, and
Solar Crest has been reworked (now it's more challenging to take Roshan without it).
Lich,
Vengeful Spirit,
Lionwill enter the meta – heroes with whom it's interesting to show activity using items. Just the priorities in actions on the map will shift slightly."
It's worth noting that on the night of December 15, developers released a major update, version 7.35, for Dota 2.
