Oleg “Stray228” Bocharov stated that the significance of Dota 2 tournaments is diminished due to the large number of similar events. The caster believes that only fans who are interested in betting can watch each of them.
The commentator made this statement on Twitch.
“Watching every tournament... There are so many of them... I see the point in watching every tournament if you're a gambling addict, really into betting, following the teams. I'm not a gambling addict, I'm tired of seeing the same teams and games every day.”
Oleg “Stray228” Bocharov noted that he is not currently following the situation in professional Dota 2, but still plans to pay attention to the upcoming Riyadh Masters 2025. The commentator decided that due to the oversaturated tournament schedule, he will only watch the Riyadh Masters events in full and partially follow the TI championships.
"I'm not watching pro Dota right now. Riyadh will be on, so I'll watch that.
There are too many tournaments. I decided for myself that this year I will watch Riyadh 100% and watch Int 50%. Last year, the 50% didn't work out — I didn't watch Int. This year, maybe I'll watch it."
As a reminder, Oleg “Stray228” Bocharov previously stated the condition under which the streamer would remove Dota 2.
