STORM and Malr1ne

Alexey "STORM" Tumanov, a commentator and Dota 2 analyst, called Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak, a player for Team Falcons, a useless midlaner, comparing him to the main character of the Naruto series.

This happened during STORM's Twitch livestream.

"I have a good comparison: Naruto is Malr1ne, absolutely useless midlaner or fighter. Only because of having nine tails, and in the case of Malr1ne – it's Huskar as the 24th pick, he can defeat opponents in the mid lane"

According to him, Malr1ne usually shows poor gameplay but can effectively fight when playing the hero Huskar. He drew parallels with the anime series, where the main character regularly loses until an ancient and powerful spirit awakens inside him, winning enemies in anger.

Apparently, the esports player did not take offense at such a derogatory comparison but perceived it as a joke and even shared a clip of the broadcast on his Telegram. In the comments, fans supported the player and advised not to pay attention to such statements.

Earlier, STORM shared information about LGD Gaming plans to remove Zhou "Emo" Yi, who currently plays in the midlaner position for the team.
