Alexey “STORM” Tumanov gave a positive assessment of the new AVULUS lineup with Jonas “SabeRLighT-” Volek, but noted that the team lacks a captain with leadership qualities in the fifth position.

The commentator shared this opinion on Telegram.

“I think they are missing some kind of captain in the fifth position, but otherwise they are quite playable.”

Dmitry “JANTER” Nikulin, who began his career in 2023 and has yet to make a significant mark on the Dota 2 pro scene, will play in the fifth position in the new AVULUS lineup. With the updated roster, the team will debut in the closed qualifiers for DreamLeague S27 and BLAST Slam IV.
