STORM is surprised by Team Liquid's unexpected move after Riyadh Masters 2024

Aleksey “STORM” Tumakov was amazed by Team Liquid decision to participate in Elite League Season 2 after they had lost at Riyadh Masters 2024 and traveled a long way for the tournament.

He shared his thoughts on his Telegram channel, a Dota 2 commentator and analyst.

“The Elite League 2 starts in Peru the day after tomorrow, but the roster mostly consists of tier-2 and tier-3 teams. It’s not entirely clear why Liquid decided to play. After such a tilt, flying to the other side of the world to play in a less prioritized tournament seems like a questionable idea. But oh well. Maybe it’s to let Nisha say hi to Satanic”

He expressed his confusion over why Team Liquid made this choice, noting that the players are not in their best psychological condition and that Elite League Season 2 is far away from them being tired. He suggests that this does not appear as probably as it may have been thought so shortly before The International 2024.
