According to Alexey “Solo” Berezin, you need to have a lot of experience playing Dota 2 to understand what is happening in a match between teams during a tournament broadcast. The esports player believes that in this discipline, it is impossible to enjoy watching games without understanding the mechanics in detail, whereas in CS2, it is immediately clear what is happening on the screen, since the concept of armed confrontation between two teams is as simple and straightforward as possible.

"You have a crosshair, you see how a team of special forces fights against a team of terrorists, who aims, who shoots — everything is clear there. Dota 2 is less viewer-friendly because until you play it yourself and understand what each ability does, you won't be able to watch the games and enjoy them."
