Solo caused a sensation in The International 2024 qualifiers

Alexey "Solo" Berezin, the captain of 9 Pandas, along with Oleg "sayuw" Kalenbet, managed to finish the first map against Virtus.pro without a single death. This qualifier match for The International 2024 caused quite a stir.

Sayuw boasted about the achievement on his Telegram channel.

"Winning against VP 2-0. On the first map, Leha and I had zero deaths. THAT'S THE OLD SCHOOL IN ACTION. On the first map, VP caught us well after Roshan, slightly dragging the game, but the second map was much easier. We started pressing from the lanes and inevitably led it to victory"

It is worth mentioning that 9 Pandas not only beat favorites of the qualifiers but did so extremely easily. Solo and sayuw just won over one of the best teams in qualifiers without dying once.

Solo had been very busy all week preparing for The International 2024; he played more than one hundred matches within seven days prior to this event.
