Alexey “Smiling Knight” Sviridov stated that he made the decision to leave AVULUS Dota 2 on his own.

The player announced this on Telegram.

"Hello, everyone. Last month, I was asked to stand in for AVULUS in the January qualifiers. The term of our agreement has come to an end, and I decided not to continue playing with the guys. Everyone tried to win, but together we couldn't come to a common understanding. I think it will be better for everyone this way."

According to Alexey “Smiling Knight” Sviridov's statement, the player's agreement with the team has come to an end, which is why he decided not to remain with AVULUS. The esports player noted that the whole team made an effort to win, but the team was unable to come to a consensus, which is why the player decided that it would be better for him not to stay with the team any longer.

As a reminder, Avulus signed Aibek “TA2000” Tokaev to the carry position for Dota 2 after Alexey “Smiling Knight” Sviridov's departure.
