Alexey “Smiling Knight” Sviridov said that he quickly agreed to replace David “Parker” Flores in Pain's Dota 2 lineup because he was happy to have the opportunity to play in a Tier 1 tournament.
The player made the statement in an interview with Dota2.
"I agreed to play pretty quickly, as it's always interesting to play in Tier 1 tournaments. Plus, it's a chance to get to know the guys. For example, Scofield is a very high-skilled player, and I wanted to play with him."
According to Alexey “Smiling Knight” Sviridov, the esports player had long been aware of the rumors about David “Parker” Flores' negative reputation, but he does not know the exact reason for the player's replacement in Pain. Nevertheless, Smiling Knight noted that a worthy player will always be invited to join teams.
The esports player also admitted that he cannot say for sure whether he wants to stay with Pain's Dota 2 roster on a permanent basis.
"Rumors about Parker's reputation have been around for a long time. I don't know the reasons for the replacement, so I can't say anything specific. If you are a high-skilled Dota player, teams will invite you to join them. I can't say whether I'll stay with Pain. We'll see."
