Alexey "Smiling Knight" Sviridov mentioned that he is currently not affiliated with any esports organization and hinted at his search for a new team.
The corresponding statement was posted by the professional esports player on his personal Telegram channel.
"I am not in
Alliance and without a contract, if anyone is interested..."
Until mid-November last year, Smiling Knight played for
Thunder Awaken. As part of
Team wkwkwk, the esports player secured a slot in the closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22, leading to rumors within the Dota 2 community that the entire roster would be acquired by
Alliance along with the earned slot. However, the team failed to secure a slot in the main tournament, losing to
Entity in the upper bracket and
Team Secret in the lower bracket of the regional closed qualifiers.

Recall that earlier Quinn "Quinn" Callahan and Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak refused to participate in the rematch at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, as the teams of both esports players did not want to compete against
Team Spirit in the playoffs.
