Oliver "skiter" Lepko, the carry of
Team Falcons, admitted that the start of FISSURE Playground 2 was extremely tough for him because of a broken elbow, and he literally couldn’t use his left hand.
The world champion in Dota 2 told about this in a comment for the Telegram channel DotaNews.
“I couldn’t use my left hand for almost half of the tournament. It was a new and hard challenge. I’m glad I managed to deal with it, and now I can cross off the list ‘Win a tournament with a broken elbow’”
He explained that at the start of the tournament it was especially hard for him and it lasted for several matches. Skiter said that he almost couldn’t use his left hand, which is critically important for pressing buttons. Still, even despite the serious injury,
Team Falcons were able to win the tournament, making their way to the grand final through the lower bracket.
It’s worth noting that many thought the team would have to take a stand-in because of such a serious injury, but in the end Skiter only missed a few maps and soon came back to play with his teammates.
