Jonas "SabeRLighT-" Volak, the offlaner for
Shopify Rebellion, revealed that his teammate had to carry the game alone as he fell ill, impacting the team's performance.
He revealed this during a post-match interview at DreamLeague Season 22, published on YouTube.
According to the esports player, he was indeed diagnosed with an illness. Due to feeling unwell, he couldn't perform at his best and mostly focused on farming camps. During this time, his teammate Thiago "Thiolicor" Coldeiro almost single-handedly carried the game and showed excellent results against
Xtreme Gaming.
It's unknown how this will affect SabeRLighT-'s future performances. Additionally, if he is at the boot camp, there is a possibility of infecting other team members, which could negatively impact their performance during the tournament.
Recall that earlier Arthur "Arteezy" Babaev, the carry of
Shopify Rebellion, surprised the Dota 2 community with his exhausted appearance and huge bruises under his eyes during the DreamLeague Season 22 tournament.
