The
MOUZ Dota 2 team has withdrawn from the PGL Wallachia Season 5 tournament. The team's slot has been given to the South American esports club
Edge.
The organizers announced this on X.
“
MOUZ will not participate in the upcoming season and will be replaced by
Edge.”
However, the organizers did not specify the reason for
MOUZ's withdrawal from the tournament, and representatives of Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp's team also did not comment on the situation.
The PGL Wallachia Season 5 tournament will take place from June 21 to 29 in Bucharest, with a prize pool of $1 million. Perhaps
MOUZ's withdrawal from the tournament is related to their defeats in the recent qualifiers.
Earlier, Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp commented on his team's defeat in the closed regional qualifiers for The International 2025.
