Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp, captain of
MOUZ, explained that the key factor in his team's defeat at FISSURE Universe: Episode 7 was fatigue due to the huge number of matches at the beginning of the season.
The esports player shared this on his Telegram channel.
“It was a great tournament. We could have been eliminated after the group stage, but in the end we made it to the final and took second place. Congratulations to Heroic! This is not an excuse, but fatigue certainly takes its toll: it turned out that 72 official matches in three weeks is a bit too much. Let's see if I can survive the upcoming season”
Seleri noted his team's achievement, reminding everyone that they managed to reach the grand final. The player also emphasized that there are no excuses for the defeat, but admitted that the team was really tired, as they had to play 72 matches in three weeks.
The team captain also noted that this is only the beginning of the season, and the number of matches is unlikely to decrease significantly, as the tournament schedule remains extremely busy.
Earlier, Raflai “Mikoto” Fatur named the main difficulty in
Aurora lineup.
