Seleri Explains Why He Has No Plans to Return to Professional Dota 2

Melchior “Seleri” Hillekamp stated that he has no plans to return to professional Dota 2, as the esports player is not ready to devote all his time to his career.

The player made this statement on YouTube.

"When you play at the pro level, it’s not just a job, it’s your whole life. The game takes up all your time. I don’t want to devote even more years to it. Maybe you’ll see me at some one-off tournament, just for fun, but I’ll never sign up for a full-time life on a team again.”

Acording to Melchior “Seleri” Hillekamp, playing at the professional level requires total dedication. The esports player noted that he is not ready to devote all his time to the game. Nevertheles, Seleri does not rule out that fans may still see him compete on the pro scene in a one-off capacity, but he is not ready for full-time participation in a professional team.
