Oleg “sayuw” Kalenbet expresses his remorse over not being able to accompany
Virtus.pro at PGL Wallachia Season 1 as he was substituted by Vladislav ‘Antares’ Kertman. Instead, he is going to compete under another team in the Riyadh Masters 2024.
He posted this statement on his Telegram channel.
“Well, I have been replaced – so why should I complain… It’s sad that I won’t see Bucharest before the LAN event.
Nevertheless, I wish good luck to the guys and hope the results will come soon or maybe they will not but still — good luck!
I plan to play anyway. It is a month left till Riyadh. Hope I can fly somewhere and play qualifiers.
Yes-yes, haters! Rejoice!
And thank you all fans from the bottom of my heart!”
According to sayuw’s words, we can assume that he plans to join another team in a short-term perspective as a stand-in or even as a permanent player and try qualifying for Riyadh Masters 2024. This seems quite unexpected since officially he is still listed as part of
Virtus.pro but inactive one.

It is worth mentioning that sayuw was replaced by Antares for Esports World Cup preparation along with The International 2024 qualifiers.
