Vitaliy “Save-” Melnik said that the relationship between the players of
BetBoom Team after the change of the lineup has become much better, and the team is also more open to new ideas.
The corresponding statement was made by the player on Twitch.
“A lot of things have definitely changed since the Reshaft. A lot of things seem to have gotten easier. We've made a few substitutions, and now even communicating within the team has become a lot easier. Overall, just being on this team is easier than it used to be.
On top of that, we are now less restricted in our thinking in terms of Dota. Now the team is ready for any heroes, everyone is excited about new ideas. That wasn't the case with the last squad. It definitely makes us stronger.”
According to the captain's statement, the relationship between the players at ESL One Bangkok 2024 is much more relaxed than at the ESL One Birmingham 2024 tournament where
BetBoom Team played with the old lineup. Vitaly “Save-” Melnyk believes that back then his teammates wanted to win, but had too different views, which often led to excessive emotions. Nevertheless, the
BetBoom Team captain admits that even now such situations sometimes happen, but on a smaller scale.
“Compared to ESL One Birmingham 2024, there is definitely less emotion in the team. I guess that was the norm for the past squad. But that's just how the players on that team were. Everyone wanted to win, and everyone had his own view on how to communicate with teammates. Now we are calmer, we don't have such conversations anymore. Maybe sometimes it happens, but not on such a scale.”.
Recall that earlier Gleb “Kiyotaka” Zyryanov changed his nickname on the last day of the group stage of the ESL One Bangkok 2024 Dota 2 tournament.
