Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov, the new carry for
Team Spirit, admitted that he managed to catch the attention of Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov and ultimately became a part of TS thanks to his high MMR rating in Dota 2.
The esports player shared this during an interview published on the official YouTube channel of the organization.
"I always dreamed of becoming an esports player, always. Probably, when I hit 9-10 thousand MMR, that’s when Diman [Korb3n] wrote to me. By then, my parents were already supportive of me"
Satanic explained that Korb3n noticed him because of his MMR rating. Despite his young age, the player had an impressive 10,000 MMR, which was an exceptionally high achievement before MMR inflation.
The player admitted that he had always wanted to join the pro scene. He achieved this by consistently playing during weekdays and gradually climbing the ranks. Eventually,
Team Spirit manager recognized his potential, first inviting him to the youth roster and later promoting him to be the new carry for the two-time Dota 2 world champions.
Let us remind you that it was previously revealed what Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov has been up to, as he has not logged into Dota 2 for over 60 days.
