Saksa spoke about playing with ATF

Martin “Saksa” Sazdov stated that the Team Yandex roster is still in the process of adapting to playing with Ammar “ATF” al-Assaf.

The player made this statement on Twitch.

“I think we’re still in the process of adjusting to each other, and the players are afraid to take up more space. ATF still lets us play our own way and tries not to interfere too much with the game. We’re trying to communicate more and gradually realize that we can let each other take up more space. We tell each other, ‘Guys, communicate more in English.’”

According to Martin “Saksa” Sazdov, there hasn’t been a noticeable language barrier on the team since Ammar “ATF” al-Assaf joined Team Yandex, but the players do have to communicate more in English. The esports player also noted that the new teammate’s gameplay style is very different from that of Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin. Saksa believes that ATF plays more aggressively and also has a more diverse hero pool.

“Some of the guys try to remind me to speak more English because we now have ATF. I need to adapt to this and communicate in English more and more.

ATF has a completely different playstyle than DM. He’s more aggressive and wants to focus on a strong lane, putting pressure on enemies. As for his hero pool, to be honest, it’s huge. He just sometimes doesn’t want to play certain heroes for whatever reason. So, I think sometimes I need to convince him a little. But I just try to understand which heroes he wants to play and in what situations that’s possible.”

As a reminder, it was previously reported that Ammar “ATF” al-Assaf was in negotiations with Team Liquid but ultimately turned down the esports organization.
