Jonas “SaberLight” Volek has stated that his exclusion from the
Shopify Rebellion roster was triggered by a disagreement with a key player. Nevertheless, the cyber athlete is grateful to all former teammates for their efforts to keep the team together.
The cyber athlete made the corresponding statement in a detailed breakdown of his departure from the
Shopify Rebellion roster, a link to which the player posted on his personal Twitter account.
“As much as I think highly of my individual skill set, I couldn't find common ground with one of the team's key players.
As time went on, our interactions got worse and worse. Despite this situation, I still believe that each of my ex-timemates did their best to make us a team.
It was hard for me to help the team grow, as at times it felt like my opinion wasn't being listened to. In the end it did more harm than good. I realized that I just wasn't the right fit for this team.”
The cyber athlete also revealed that he is currently going through a crisis period in his career and intends to take a break to recover.
Shopify Rebellion attributed the ex-timemate's exclusion to a drop in the team's results. The lineup gave the former teammate time to find a new team, sending him on indefinite paid vacation.

Recall that earlier the captain of
B8 Danil “Dendi” Ishutin also reported the departure of one of the key players of the team.
