Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev said that the plans have changed, and the debut match of his BC.game roster will take place earlier than he expected, at the IEM Rio 2026 qualifiers.
The CS2 legend shared this in his Telegram channel.
“A couple of updates. We had three days of practice, I really like the team. There is still something to work on. On the first day we played three Train maps — and the map was removed right away. Seems like trains don’t really like me. I thought the first official match would be in Krakow but instead we’ll have to sweat at the Rio qualifiers. Thanks everyone for the support. We practice 10 hours a day. I’m so happy to be back in a working atmosphere, see you very soon”
S1mple clarified that he is happy to return and play in a team again, but noted that they started practicing on Train, and this map is being removed from competitions. He also said that he planned the team’s debut at IEM Krakow, but it turned out they will play official matches earlier, at the IEM Rio 2026 qualifiers, which start on January 16.
The esports player added, that the roster is training actively for 10 hours a day and they plan to show their maximum level in the new CS2 season.
