Alexander “S1mple” Kostylev is surprised that Vitality still confidently dominates the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene.
The player shared his opinion on Telegram.
"I don't understand how no one has beaten Vitality yet. It's not even about the new rosters—there are fewer rounds now, and because of that, there's more randomness. If you win the pistol round, pull off a clean anti-force, and take full eco in the first and second halves, you already have six guaranteed rounds.
Before, 6 rounds meant nothing. Now, 6 rounds is half the game.”
According to Alexander “S1mple” Kostylev, the issue isn’t that other teams have improved their preparation, but rather that the level of gameplay has become less influential on match outcomes due to the reduction in the number of rounds. The esports player believes that winning each round now has a significant impact on the final result, which gives even weaker rosters a better chance of success.
