S1mple Comments on BC.Game’s Failure to Qualify for the Esports World Cup 2026

Following BC.Game’s defeat in the Esports World Cup 2026 qualifiers, Alexander “S1mple” Kostylev stated that the team can and will play better.

The player posted the following comment on Telegram.

“So, the tournament is over. We can and will play better. It feels like we lost to ourselves again. Thanks to everyone for the support and more.”

According to the esports player’s statement, the team could have played better but ended up with a weaker result than the players had hoped for. It’s worth noting that Alexander “S1mple” Kostylev later reviewed the list of participants for the main stage of the 2026 Esports World Cup. The esports player believes that very weak teams made it into the tournament.

“Oh my God, I looked at the EWC main stage participants—it’s a nightmare. Half of them are rag-tag rosters. I’m in shock.”
