Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan named the defeat to PSG.LGD at The International 2018 as the most disappointing in his career as an esports player.
The player made this statement on Twitch.
"The most disappointing defeat in my career? When we were eliminated from the eighth Int. We lost to LGD then, they destroyed us completely. It's not exactly a critical defeat, but it's quite disappointing."
At The International 2018, Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan played for
Virtus.pro, which finished the tournament in the top 6.
According to the esports player, he is most affected by personal mistakes when he realizes that he let the team down because he could have played better. Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan takes team failures easier than personal failures in official matches.
"The most frustrating thing is when you realize that you could have done more, but you didn't. It's not about the defeat, but in general. It's like you didn't finish the game. When something didn't work out for the team, it's a common cause. It's harder to make individual mistakes. I put a lot of pressure on myself because I knew I had no right to play so badly. That hurt the most."
Earlier, Vladimir “Rodjer” Nikogosyan assessed his team at the FME Dota 2 show tournament with Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev.
