Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok announced that he is leaving Eternal Dota League, which he created, and the project is freezing due to a large number of mistakes.
The cybersportsman wrote about this in his Telegram channel:
“In general we have the fact that now the project is frozen until better times. It's hard - I invested a lot of effort and energy to make it come to life, and people could really get high from games with a high level of play. But my competencies weren't enough to make it happen. A huge number of critical mistakes were made, and I relied heavily on my partner's competence. Somewhere I was shifting responsibility too much. Somewhere I was hindered by limiting mental models, somewhere by a lack of knowledge, experience, somewhere by a lack of team, boldness, investment, response from the players that this is really necessary”
Resolut1on admitted that a lot of effort and resources were invested in the league, but he was not competent enough to realize what he had envisioned. He also noted that he made a number of critical mistakes, which is why he decided to freeze the project. Now he is going to start working on a new endeavor, but he has not yet revealed what kind.
Nevertheless, representatives of the Eternal Dota League denied Resolut1on's statement and said that the league continues its activities, thanking the pro-player for his participation in the project.
Recall, earlier Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk snapped because of the situation in matchmaking Dota 2.
